IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to Rider Insurance at HoY 2012 there has been a change in policy.  All Section must be covered for Rider Indemity Insurance.  Therefore it is important that you check your membership body to make sure you are covered at HoY.   If your Association/Inc. does not carry Rider Indemity Insurance you will need to have ESNZ Day Membership, which is $5 per day.

Please note: that each competitor will be issued with 2 wristbands.  Wristbands will need to be worn for competiting, secured area entrance during the  day and ground entrance at night. 

Competitors are allowed to purchase 4 extra wristbands at $40 each.   This offer closes on 14th March 2012 at 5pm.

SHOWGROUND DIRECTIONS

FROM NORTH

From the airport, proceed along the express way for about 10mins,until you come to an intersection with traffic lights.  Just prior to the lights there is a road that veers off to the left, sign posted as Pakowhai Rd.  Take this left turning and proceed down Pakowhai Rd for about 5mins, crossing a bridge and following the road which bends to the right.  Take the second turning to the left after the bridge, which brings you into Ruahapia Rd ( this turning will be clearly marked).  Then follow the signs along Ruahapia Rd, turning right into Otene Rd, and then left into Elwood Rd.  Those who are camping adjacent to and behind the grandstand enter the showgrounds from Gate 13 and those in the Karamu Rd area from Gate C.  

FROM SOUTH

Following Highway 2, turn left at Paki Paki corner and follow the road for about 5kms until you come to a new round about on the corner of Maraekakaho Rd and the expressway.  Turn onto the new part of the expressway and follow this to the third round-a-bout, about 5mins.  At this round-a-about, turn right into Evenden Rd and then left into Pakowhai Rd. Take the third turning to the right , which brings you into Ruahapia Rd ( this turning will be clearly marked).  Then follow the signs along Ruahapia Rd, turning right into Otene Rd, and then left into Elwood Rd.  Those who are camping adjacent to and behind the grandstand enter the showgrounds from Gate 13 and those in the Karamu Rd area from Gate C.  
 Please note that trucks are not to turn  from Pakowhai Rd into Elwood Rd.
