PLEASURE
Pleasure Horse and Ponies are a class of their own
These are for horses and ponies that have never competed in show classes
These are great classes for Pintos, Paints, Pacers, Appaloosas and other Cross Breeds.
Horse and ponies must be ridden in an open Snaffle Bridle only
These classes are also to be ridden Whip and Spur free.
This is the third year of these classes and they are getting bigger every year.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Horse of the Year Show 2012.
Notices to competitors
Rider must be a current member of a national or local club eg: Adult Rider or Pony Club. If this club does not carry public liability insurance, then riders must also take out a ESNZ Day Registration, which in on the HOY entry Qualifying for 2012 Show
Please note that it is only the TITLE classes ( class 550 & 559) that you need to qualify for. To qualify you need to have won a Champion or 2 reserve champions in a Pleasure class during the current season and provide proof of your placings. You can qualify at either A & P Shows or sports meetings.
