Those seeking early morning coffee fixes at HOY can breathe easy with the news that Bay Espresso will have 10 stands around the Showgrounds.
Owner Jonelle Jarvis says it was an easy decision to pair up with the 2015 Farmlands Horse of the Year Show as the official supplier of coffee this year.
“We know how important this event is to the region and believe in supporting local,” says Jarvis. “It’s a good marriage.”
Two of the coffee stands in the camping areas will be open from 6am each morning – one is on in the vicinity of Karamu and Elwood roads, and the other behind the grandstand. And those sites will have more than just divine coffee and delicious Simply Squeezed juices. Also on offer will be fresh fruit, vegetables and bread.
“We pride ourselves on roasting and preparing the best tasting organic coffee we can every time,” says Jarvis.
All of the coffee used by Bay Espresso is certified organic, ethically traded green beans from Trade Aid, and roasted locally.
Bay Espresso will also be near the grandstand from Wednesday (March 11) through to Monday (March 16) with food and coffee for those helping to set up the show.
