YOU HAVE TO BE THERE
The two showing arenas are set in a peaceful ‘park-like setting’ of established oak and plane trees where the competitors enjoy showing their animals in a relaxed environment without noisy distractions.
After months of work and conditioning, spectators can expect to see new Zealand’s top show horses and ponies competing at this very prestigious event, from children in the leading rein classes right through to adults on beautiful hacks and hunters.
Extremely qualified judges from United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Australia and New Zealand will judge these animals.
On the Monday after the Kelt Capital Horse of the Year, these judges will stay on in Hastings and facilitate a seminar for people interested in showing.
A rare opportunity to have such a wealth of knowledge at our finger tips.
