At least 5 of our International riders on the short list for Olympic Games are coming to Hastings,HOY 2004.
Riders confirmed at this date are,Daniel Meech,Grant Wilson,Peter Breakwell,Duncan McFarlane,and Guy Thomas.
It has been at least 10 years since most of these riders have competed here in New Zealand certainly not all together and at one time.
Grant,Daniel,Peter,Duncan and Guy will be making up 2 teams with Katie McVean to carry the flag for NZ.
Other teams are in the process of confirming.
Daniel,Grant,Peter,Duncan,& Guy were the riders that have been instumental in NZ gaining entry to the Olympic Games, another first for NZ.
The Catay Pacific International Teams Event will be held on Saturday 20th march,at 2.15pm Cathay Pacific Internatinal Day
