NZ HOY Hall of Fame

The Kelt Capital Horse of the Year Show continues to grow in prestige and stature and is now become one of the largest and most prestigious annual equestrian events in the Southern Hemisphere right on our very own home turf!

The organizers felt it was now timely for Equestrian Sports to have recognition and the NZ Horse of the Year “Hall of Fame” was hatched. The NZ Horse of the Year “Hall of Fame” inaugural event will be opened at a Gala Dinner on Thursday March 18th in the Horse of the Year Function Marquee on the Premier Arena. Up to five inductees will be announced before an expected sell-out crowd of around 300.

Just who those inaugural inductees are, will be a closely guarded secret right up until the night!

The inductee contenders will have given extraordinary service to the NZ Horse of the Year. They will have achieved outstanding results with consistent performance in either Show jumping or Dressage dating back to the mid 50’s when the first Horse of the Year Show series began.
